HERTALAN KS137 CONTACT ADHESIVE

Hertalan KS137 is a versatile contact adhesive suited towards securely adhering to your Hertalan EPDM Membrane. It can be applied vertically and horizontally onto a variety of surfaces such as wood, bitumen, masonry material, lead, and suitable faced thermal installation boards. The bond created is both elastic and waterproof and can withstand temperatures from -40°C to 80°C. For a fully secure bond, it is highly recommended that Hertalan KS137 is applied to both sides of the membrane.

Application

HERTALAN® KS137 is a ready-for-use contact adhesive for overlapped adhering of HERTALAN® EPDM rubber roof membranes and rolls. The product can also be used for adhering surfaces when HERTALAN® EPDM rubber has to be adhered onto a flat, dry base (such as wood, concrete, metal or HERTALAN® EPDM rubber).

Properties

HERTALAN® KS137 creates a strong bond between two layers of HERTALAN® EPDM rolls or sheets or when adhering HERTALAN® EPDM membranes to a suitable base. The adhesive bond is elastic and waterproof. HERTALAN® KS137 should be applied to both sides. When it has completely dried the adhesive bond is resistant to temperatures from -40°C up to 80°C.
